How to book
All Haringey schools are invited to apply for a residential trip to Pendarren House. This is before other organisations can book.
There is a closing date for applications, followed by the process of allocating weeks. Pendarren House will then contact the school with an offer including terms of conditions. After this any vacant weeks are available to any other schools or organisations. Please contact Pendarren House if you wish to know who the application form is sent to in your school. If you wish to for a copy sent directly to you please contact Pendarren House.
To confirm acceptance of an offer schools pay a deposit (per pupil) to Pendarren House. Please be realistic with the number of pupils you intend to bring. Pendarren House will be committing staffing and resources to your trip from this time. You may be penalised if you drop numbers at late notice. You can amend numbers without penalty if you give enough notice. Full details on how much notice you need to give to reduce numbers and any penalties involved are in the terms and conditions.
Your school may also need to register the trip on e.g. EVOLVE.
Once schools have booked there are some deadlines for sending information to Pendarren House. This is so we can ensure we have the resources in place. Please ensure you send the information required by these deadlines. It is difficult to arrange some requirements at short notice.
Schools will be invoiced after their trip. There are discounts for those eligible for free school meals at the time of the trip. This cannot be determined in advance.
Contact Pendarren House directly if you have any specific enquiries. For example relating to behavioural issues, disabilities, dietary or medical needs.
Schools need to arrange their own coach transport to Pendarren House. Please ensure that your coach company has the coach route to Pendarren House.
Would financial assistance enable some pupils to participate in the residential trip?
The Tottenham Grammar School Foundation have for many years supported Pendarren House. They can help Haringey schools financially to enable all students to attend. Please contact them in advance of your trip to apply for funding.
Support is available for those in need, but schools need to apply in advance!

At least 3 months before your visit:
Group confirmation form to the total numbers you are sending
This should be the same (or less) than the numbers agreed with Pendarren House. You must contact Pendarren House to agree an increase in numbers.

Schools and groups from outside Haringey
Pendarren House is also available to out of borough schools. They can book once the Haringey school booking procedure has been completed. See the availability calendar
